A Brief History
The vision of Rienda Services, Inc. started in 2007 when a nurse, a physical therapist, and an administrator began working together as part of an interdisciplinary team providing consultation services to a small family-owned business in Chula Vista, California that owned four Adult Residential Facilities.
Since that time, our dedicated team has been involved in the transition planning process of individuals moving from state developmental centers to a community home.
Over the years, as the team worked together, we began to realize how our collective efforts in our individual disciplines and advocacy positively supported the clients we served. We found that our group dynamic was very effective in delivering services in a caring, tailored, and innovative fashion.
With the desire to help more individuals to transition into community homes, we each began developing our own business, all the while, supporting each other through our growth. As a group, we have successfully developed many specialized Community Placement Plan homes, and we are currently working on developing three additional homes.
Family support can be integral to successful community placement, and we at Rienda Services, Inc. value the role the family plays during the transition process and are committed to working collaboratively. We understand that some families have reservations about their family member moving to a community placement, and we work tirelessly to help family members become empowered and informed on the services we offer and how these services will be delivered to their loved one. Our goal is to provide reassurance and build confidence with families, and we make every concession feasible to ensure the family is comfortable with the transition process. We maintain open lines of communication throughout the process and into placement.
