Rienda Services operates and maintains Adult Residential Facilities serving individuals between the ages of 18 and 59 years old who have developmental disabilities with cognitive, physical, and medical challenges. RSI provides care, supervision, and complete support for all activities of daily living to clients who may have the following challenges: Developmental Delay, Intellectually Disabled, Autism & Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Scoliosis, Decreased Mobility, Impaired Balance and Coordination, Gait Deviations, Strength and Range of Motion Limitations, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Rhett Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Hydrocephalus, and Down Syndrome.
We serve individuals who have been assessed with an intellectual disability and who have been identified to require additional services than those that can be provided in a conventional Adult Residential Care Facility within the community. Our homes are developed in conjunction with the Department of Developmental Services for individuals exiting a State Developmental Center into a community placement. The individual’s care and needs are met by a team of seasoned Direct Support Professionals who have experience and specialized training required to meet the specific needs of each individual.
RSI in conjunction with the San Diego Regional Center / Department of Developmental Services develop these highly specialized Adult Residential Facilities as an alternative for individuals with developmental disabilities to reside in the community instead of institutional settings through the CPP (Community Placement Plan) model.
